FIRE EMBLEM FATES BEASTRUN PSP

WipEout Pure (or maybe Pulse) on the PSP had some free, timed exclusive DLC tracks. Now the only way to get it is to emulate it or buy a memory card with it on. Now the only way to get it is to emulate it or to buy it second hand.Ī digital game, or DLC, stops being sold online.

  • Wed 16th Feb I don't understand what you mean sorry?Ī physical game goes out of print.
  • If you want to have it in your collection there's still time to fire up Fates and purchase it, but after March next year a major Fire Emblem campaign will be gone outside of a relatively small number of limited edition physical copies. There are lots of games that'll be lost, but this does seem to be one of the biggest to bite the dust.

Nintendo's Japanese support website has confirmed that Revelation and the other DLCs in Fates will be no exception they will disappear from sale. While Fire Emblem Fates also has a lot of other DLC add-ons that'll also disappear with the shutdown, it's the loss of Revelation that seems particularly painful. We liked it a lot in our review.įor the vast majority though this is a DLC add-on it didn't get individual retail versions like the other two campaigns, so unless you were lucky enough to get the relatively rare Special Edition that had all three on a cartridge, it had to be a download. None of the ones you've mentioned would be bad.Revelation was a third campaign, and pretty important for fans that wanted to go all-in with the story in this path you don't choose a side, and in terms of gameplay it offers another interesting mix of maps and challenges. You have a lot of flexibility for experimenting with classes for characters, particularly on Hard, so I wouldn't worry too much about following a specific class suggestion. The class gives him more speed (the one stat he needs), and the skills available to Hero/Bow Knight he can make quite good use of. I'm a big fan of (you don't have him yet) letting Xander reclass into Bow Knight, which is available to him either through marrying Selena or getting A+ Friendship with Laslow. Apart from spending a ton of statboosters on her, the only (worthwhile) way to improve her bulk is to have her marry Benny, whose probably her best husband (he provides 4-5 strength and 6-7 defense at S-support, depending on whether he's a General or Great Knight).Ī popular physical class for Odin is Dread Fighter-otherwise I'd have him reclass back to Sorceror (Vantage does help with Nosferatu tanking). Mozu has some of the worst durability in the game (and Archer won't solve that!). Outside of people like this, you're just going to end up getting a lot of bad or outdated information that doesn't hold up in actual play. If you want good information on Fates, I'd strongly recommend watching Zoran's youtube channel ( ), or look into The Lunatic Club on Serenes Forest ( ) and in particular read anything joshcja posts about unit balance and proper play. Odin has native access to Vantage and Life and Death on a Sorcerer, which is one of the most powerful things possible in Fates, especially if you're not going to use Ophelia. People who say this are likely echoing the sentiments a lot of people had when Fates was new and people were still comparing Fates mages to Awakening mages. People who say Odin is not the best mage are flat wrong. Outside of that, she's not worth investing into unless you favor her. Mozu's greatest strengths are that, with investment, she can do good damage to fliers, and is a terrific mom for providing Quick Draw to any children she has. Now I'm not sure what direction to have him since I won't have any magic kids but I've read he's not the best mage.ģ)any other ideas for classes/units to prioritize? I'm thinking great Lord!Selena and Witch!Nyx but am open to any ideas!Įdit: fixed formatting because mobile and am gonna ditch Mozu probably. While I'm open to any tips that might help me get through without child units I'm also curious on what I should do with 1)Mozu is a lvl14 dread fighter, she's becoming a beast as is but a little glass cannony, and I've heard she's better as a archer class?Ģ)Odin is currently a lvl18 samurai, but I didn't reclass him until he hit lvl16 as a dark mage since I forgot seals don't reset level. So far I've made it to chapter 12 and learned that I need to be much more careful than in awakening, the difficulty curve is a lot better so I can't just gring my way out of walls (RIP Arthur, you won't be missed) I do have most of the dlc though so grinding while not ideal is possible and seals are theoretically infinite. I made a few mistakes because I forgot how the seal system doesn't reset levels. Got back in FE when I recently replayed awakening (first ever classic run) and then had the idea to replay conquest on Hard Classic with no child units.
